Drum / Empty Cylinder Crushers

Drum / Empty Cylinder Crushers offered by us are ideal for pressing light metal 8 as well as tolled hoop bonds. With availability of surrounding spray guard having large viewing window, these crushers also represent concept of optimum safety while handling of processes.

These drum or LPG cylinder crushers come with sliding front door. Further, hinge door type can also be offered as demanded by the customers. With balers either operated by hand lever or through electrical push buttons, these Drum Crushers efficiently reduce heavy-duty drums (45 gallons or 205 Liters) down to discs with thickness of around only 100mm (4").

Process:

• Load in a drum
• Close the door
• Press auto cycle button
• Ram descends and crushes drum onto sating loaded bottom plate
• This allows fat bottom piercing and easy removal after completed cycle

The process in detail includes:

• There is present the first crushing surface and second crushing surface which are operative to crush material between them
• Hydraulic system is used to adjust gap between first crushing surface and second crushing surface through adjusting position of first crushing surface with hydraulic cylinder connected to first crushing surface
• Hydraulic system includes accumulator connected to hydraulic cylinder by hydraulic liquid conduit
• Accumulator includes hydraulic liquid chamber and gas chamber that are separated from hydraulic liquid chamber.
• Accumulator features preloading pressure (pressure of gas chamber when hydraulic liquid chamber is empty) of at least 0.3 MPa lower than mean operating pressure of hydraulic cylinder
• This allows accumulator to remain active and adjust to variations occurring in hydraulic pressure of hydraulic cylinder during operations of crusher system
